Sandy was guest on Jay Leno’s farewell show, giving a very funny, emotional, and Sandy-like interview.

“You were always so welcoming and every single person on your crew was that way consistently, and I just felt special even when I felt very insecure,” Bullock told Leno. “And everyone, I think, in this room and in this country, has felt that every day that you’ve been in their homes.”

Sandra Bullock Talks Getting Naked on Grahan Norton Show

We doubt that Ryan Reynolds was actually frightened by the sight of a naked Sandra Bullock charging at him in The Proposal, but the actress insists that she would never attempt to strip in a film for the sake of sexiness.

“There’s nothing funnier than two naked bodies slapping together,” Bullock observed on the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show, airing July 11 on BBC America (or tonight, if you get BBC One).

“There’s nothing sexy about it at all—it’s funny. It’s not like your hug,” the ever-candid actress added, turning to fellow guest Nick Frost (who is rather cuddly). “It’s not intimate.”

But Bullock looked so great in The Proposal, Norton said—though he did admit that he was paying more attention to her costar’s naked body at the time.

“No, I don’t do naked for sexy,” the actress insisted. “Naked only works for me in the funny.”

Thursday morning on Today, Sandy sat with Matt Lauer to promote Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. She admitted that she doesn’t have quite the large part that some would expect. “I’m actually in there for about 24 minutes,” said Bullock. “There might be more, but I don’t know how many moments like this there will be. With stories like this. With directors and casts like this … you can’t say no to that.”
