Studio bosses at the helm of SANDRA BULLOCK’s latest film ALL ABOUT STEVE have pushed back the release date – because there are so many romantic-comedies currently competing for a slice of box office success.
The film was slated to hit theatres in the U.S. on 6 March (09) but has been possibly held from the market until the autumn.
Twentieth Century Fox have reportedly decided to delay the film due to the fact so many female-marketed movies are vying for cinemagoers attentions at the the same time.
All About Steve’s release would have been up against newly-released Confessions of a Shopaholic and Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore’s star-studded rom-com He’s Just Not That In To You – which shot straight to the top of the U.S. box office earlier this month (Feb09).

Pushing back release date is always an ominous sign, especially when the trailer looks like a stinker, unfortuntely. “The Proposal” looks better from what I can see on its trailer, and it is scheduled for release ths June.
