‘Most Wanted’ Not Sandra Bullock’s Next Movie, Says Rep

In a statement to 24 Frames, Bullock’s agent made a point of noting that “Most Wanted” was in very early development and that Bullock would most certainly shoot something else before this movie, if she shoots it at all. “[Bullock] is simply attached to the project, which is currently in development. This is not her next film,” said Creative Artists Agency managing partner Kevin Huvane, who represents the actress. Indeed, the project is a pitch with no script — writer Peter Chiarelli will set about writing it now — and if that script comes in and doesn’t meet with Bullock’s approval, the actress has a clear out not to make the film.

Huvane went on to leave the door open even more. “There are several projects of many different genres that Ms. Bullock is presently considering and has not committed to any of them at this time.”

“The next project that will follow her Oscar will be chosen carefully and with a great deal of thought,” he added.

Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds Ready for Some Action

It’s nice to be wanted. Confirming what E! Online’s Marc Malkin reported back in March, the Proposal costars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are set to reunite for Most Wanted, an action-comedy from the screenwriter who brought them together in last summer’s romcom hit.

And the hook this time?

Taking their mature funnylady meets hot younger guy act on the road, the caper follows a criminal suspect (Bullock) who’s escorted to court by an FBI agent (Reynolds) only to find the pair ambushed along the way and forced to go on the run. Hilarity ensues of course, not to mention the obvious sparks.

Guess last night’s kiss at the MTV Movie Awards with Ryan’s missus, Scarlett Johansson, really got Sandy in the mood?

Proposal scribe Peter Chiarelli sold the pitch to Universal Pictures for $1 million and the studio is is in talks with that film’s director, Anne Fletcher, about coming aboard. Reynolds will also executive Most Wanted with his Dark Trick Films partner Jonathan Komack-Martin.

This will be the second romantic-themed flick the thesps will have coupled up for, following such modern big screen pairings as Richard Gere and Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman and The Runaway Bride) and Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan (Joe Vs. the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail).

Bullock to attend red carpet event in New Orleans

Actress Sandra Bullock will walk the red carpet in New Orleans on Thursday for an evening premiere of her latest film, “The Blind Side.”

Bullock, who recently bought a home in New Orleans, is hosting the event with film studio Warner Bros. to raise money for Warren Easton High School, which was flooded by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Bullock already has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the school for scholarships, new band uniforms, auditorium renovations and a new health clinic.

The movie, which opens in theaters nationwide Friday, is based on a true story of a poor teenager taken in by a family and recruited by a major college to play football. It also stars country singer Tim McGraw.

Sandra Bullock Is Not One of The Expendables

It was recently reported that Sandra Bullock would reunite with her Demolition Man co-star for his latest film, but it seems that won’t happen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sandra Bullock will not be joining the cast of Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables.

A rep for Nu Image/Millenium Films, who are producing the film, said that Bullock’s rumored casting was simply “wishful thinking” by the fans.

Stallone will write, direct and star in the film and he is currently scouting locations in preperation for a February shoot.
